We got Brad's board score last Wednesday. It was a ray of sunshine in a dreary week. We are very surprised and delighted; he did very well. Good enough to get him where he wants to go. We really appreciate all the thoughts and prayers that have been heading this way. We don't know how we got through it but we know we have been upheld by all of you! I am making him (and me) a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting.
Brad is now busy in his OB rotation. He has been working with infertility this last week which we thought was ironic and convenient (for several reasons). He is doing the night shift this week at the hospital 5pm-7am.
"hopefully I will deliver some babies, well actually it's the mothers who really deliver the babies but maybe I will get to be there to catch" -classic Brad
I don't know who's been told what, but we are pregnant! We have an ultrasound tomorrow to see what's going on and how the growth is going. We are hopeful that things will look good this time. We had one a week ago and things didn't look so good so we have been on pins and needles all week not doing much of anything.
Hope you are all doing well.
Here's the cake! It is delicious. You are all invited to come over and have some until it's gone, which will be pretty fast
