Just some Projects

I have been busy this week with projects. This is the awesomely cute hat I made that will fit no one sadly; it is too fat and short. But super soft and cute.

Here's my model, see how it fits around his head but its not deep enough? It is very stretchy.
This is Brad being creative. We were gifted a bunch of baby clothes and among all the pink were these cute little shoes.

I also worked on some baby blankets. They were fun and easy and make great gifts. I have seen them at JoAnns but I got these at AC Moore. They come in a kit with fabrics already chosen so you just have to cut and sew. I love this one with the flowers and elelet. I gave it away to a good home. The other one with ducks is going to a good home in a few weeks.

The outside boarder is what they call plush fabric, its like a thick fake velvet. Very soft and hard to sew with but they turned out great.

And here, for posterity, is me trying to sew with the big belly. I really don't look that pregnant in this picture. Oh, and notice the orange shirt Mom, it doesn't look like a balloon, it has elastic around the bottom so it's not billowy like most maternity shirts.

Thanks for watching! I am going to try more hats they are fun and fast to knit so I'll put some more on when I finish them.

Willie and Sequoia, and Dad.
Wish I had taken a few more pictures, but it was a great meal.
