Christmas preparations!

John and I had our anniversary. The girls decorated the house with hearts that said things like "Mommy loves Daddy" and "Mommy hates falling in holes."

Hi Hannah! We miss you while we're goofing off! Millie colored her hair, and now she looks just like you! It's truly amazing. I hope you can smell the turkey smoking and feel the warm Arizona sun! Love you!

You can count this as my official welcome to the family to Nicole. I am so glad I have a mother who knows what a picture is worth. She sent me this email and I instantly knew it belonged in the blog (this is good stuff). I am very excited for you two and does Ned know how to pick 'um or what! (She is very cute, I approve) We look forward to seeing you guys at Christmas. Good luck with all the plans.

Halloween

This is the car Zac (and Mom & Dad) made that crashed with an egg in the bowl. The egg had to just sit in the bowl - it couldn't be strapped down or anything. Our egg didn't break! I was impressed

Late Halloween Pics

Sorry it has taken me a while to put these on. First of all, Happy Birthday to Hannah (late) and Brad and Syd!!! Halloween was pretty fun. The kids wore costumes to school and had parades and parties and such. We visited Mark's "Haunted Cube" at his office, and we went over to Moms for a while in costume. Mark and Millie (w/o costume -lame) and Noah showed up, so we took some pictures and had some leaf fights. Mom and I are sort of witches. I'm not sure what Syd is- some kind of Halloween devil lady (according to David). Rachel is a bunny rabbit, John is a nerd, David is dressed in Black with crazy hair(?), and Noah is a tiny, chubby, purple dragon. We went back to our neighborhood for the "trunk or treat" and were done by around 7:30pm, which was great because I wasn't feeling too well -coming down with a nasty sore throat/cough thing.

Harper update

Just wanted to check in with everyone and wish happy birthday wishes to Hannah, Brad and Sydney. We cant wait for the annual trip to Arizona for Thanksgiving and a break from the every day hum drum. Here are some of the latest pics from our family...

Hello Everyone!

Wow! I finally logged into this and look at what I have been missing!! I don't have any cool pictures to post, but I cut my hair too, Hannah. I guess I should figure out how to use the digital camera. It looks like you all have been so busy doing cool fun stuff. I think I have been doing dishes and laundry... Zach has been making a car for school that will crash with an egg inside, and the egg is not supposed to break. I don't have much hope for the egg. We will take pictures. Jeff has been working hard at everything. I have been experimenting with whole wheat bread I guess. I'm glad I logged into this! I miss you all lots and lots, Love, Evy

All Dressed Up

At the daycare I wore Brad's camo's but that got kinda old after wearing them all day so I decided to change for that evenings' party. Here I am as a nerdy missionary, and Brad is an Air Force Officer (got to get our money's worth out of that uniform some how). I guess I pull off "nerdy" pretty well; I didn't even have to try very hard. We went to our friends Brett and Selita's apartment for the party, they are great hosts. We had a potluck and then tones of desserts. We decorated cookies and mostly sat around talking. The guys all had fun together, not studying. All four couples are here for graduate school, we all got here this summer, three are med students the fourth is at The Eastman School of Music. They are our family away from family. We hope all had a great Halloween, love to see pictures!
